When I first created this blog in June of 2010, I was in the midst of my parents' divorce. I had fallen into depression and had been abandoned by many of my friends. I felt betrayed and alone. I had left who I was in order to cope with all that was going on. But, I came back to who God claims as His. He claims me as a beautiful child of His. He created me for something great and glorious to honor and glorify His name. It was then that I realized the need to reclaim my existence in Him. To allow Him to renew my life as He salvaged me from the trash I had become. Although the first name I came up with, "Salvage Stories," emphasized that rescuing grace that God has for each of us, it didn't quite seem to capture exactly what I had felt. It was more than just a rescue. It was God reclaiming me as His own. As a beloved child of His that had come back to her Daddy. I want to be the creation that He intended for me. I want to glorify His name because He is God! He is our Creator. And He has claimed me as HIS OWN!!!
Thus, this is my journey as He salvages who I was created to be in my Reclaimed Existence!
PS - You should also know that God is beyond gender. SO - while I may use He, I might as well use She too. :)
